Will my own insurance adjuster protect my interests? I doubt it!
You must realize that insurance companies train adjusters to be skilled at "helping" you while they are really helping themselves! But insurance companies only make more money by not paying you. Thus, beware that your own company often tries to appear to be helping you, by doing something like paying your medical bills. But the reality is -- they have to do that. They are not doing you a favor. And you may be entitled to much more. What about pain and suffering? What about wage loss?
Here is the truth: You paid for coverage. Now they have to pay you for the harm that was done by an uninsured driver. Not some of the harm -- all of the harm.
So if they told you otherwise, and worse yet, told you that you don't need a lawyer -- think twice. Even if you alread settled... think again!
Don't give in, just because it's "your" company.
