It is simple. Follow this instruction if you want the highest level of protection from making a mistake. "Don't talk to insurance adjusters without a lawyer."
Insurance adjusters are very skilled at getting you to say things that later they will use against you. Don't get hurt twice.
It is simple Consult a lawyer first.
Consulting a lawyer can make all the difference in how much money you get.
The insurance adjuster will not really try to help you get the most of your OWN underinsured (UIM) or uninsured (UM) policy, and that same adjsuter might even try to hold down the value claim.
A lawyer's job is to help you get the most. That is how the lawyer is paid! Your adjster is out to do the oppoiste. And your insurance agent won't help, either. They only sell insurance, and are not trained to handle claims.
It is simple. The best bet -- call a good personal injury lawyer.
