UM Coverage, Full Protection, UM/UIM insurance - Monheit Law

There are things you need to know about your insurance covverage. Don't assume that your insurance carrier is looking out for you!

And, don't assume because you have some UM that you are fully protected.

WHile UM/UIM protects you, your passenger, and even relatives in your household for injuries in any UM/UIM wreck for medicals, pain and suffering, lost wages, and future losses, it does not mean that your insurance carrier will give you everything you deserve.

Thus, you still may need to hire a lawyer to deal with your own insurance company. This may be the only way to insure that you receive all of the the money due from your UM/UIM coverage.

UM/UIM is used when the accident is someone else's fault, and they either have no insurance, or insurance limits that are too low to cover your damages.
