Pennsylvania Truck Accidents: Who's to blame? Do you need a Pennsylvania law firm?

On a recent day in late June 2007, a tandem-tractor trailer slammed into six cars, killing three people including a child.

While Lancaster County is blaming the State of Pennsylvania and the Turnpike Commission is blaming Rapho Township, how might such a tragedy be prevented and what would you do if you or a loved one was in that truck accident or one similar to it?
The first thing you would do is get medical help and then call the Pennsylvania law firm of Anapol Schwartz. A Pennsylvania law firm will fight for what's right on your behalf. You might mistakenly think that is what your car insurance company will do but they won't have your best interests in mind.

Here's what happened on this particular dreadful day in PA. During a popular event the Pennsylvania State Police called the Renaissance Faire's personnel who started directing traffic on Route 72 and controlling a stoplight at the event's entrance. The traffic soon backed up the Pennsylvania Turnpike by more than a mile.

The truck driver said she did not notice slowing traffic ahead. The westbound truck smashed into a car, which became wedged under the cab; both vehicles burst into flame. Inside the car were a 70 year old woman, a 39 year old woman, and 5 year old child. All were killed and burned so badly that dental records had to be used for identification. They were headed for the Renaissance Faire. The truck then hit five other vehicles; four more people were hurt. The truck driver escaped without injury.
