Monterey California Truck Accident lawsuit settled

An accident in 2004 result in a $4.5 million settlement against an 18-wheeler loaded with 79,000 pounds of produce that trapped and crushed 3 men inside a sedan when the produce fell onto a Checrolet Malibu. One passenger was suffocated to death. The others ended up in the hospital. The police investigation revealed that the 18-wheeler needed brake repair. In addition, the driver ran a stop sign at 60 MPH
