According to Pennsylvania State Police, McConnellsburg, Marshall E. Deimler, 21, Dillsburg was traveling north in a 1998 Chevrolet pickup truck at 8:15 p.m. and was attempting to negotiate a right hand turn on wet roads. The truck went out of control, slid across the double line and struck a 1998 Oldsmobile Bravada driven by Johnathan L Wible, 35, McConnellsburg.
