Big rig trucks cause problems in our tri-state area of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. They are most deadly in and around Philadelphia are Cape May, Atlantic and Ocean Counties in New Jersey and Chester and Montgomery Counties in Pennsylvania.

Not only do these accident claim lives, but they also wreak havoc on area economics and travel. According to federal records, serius truck related accidents where the driver suffered serious injuries are up seven percent in the Philadelphia area, up 10 percent in Burlington County and up 32 percent in Ocean County, NJ.

Bad weather is not a major facot in causing deadly big rig accidents. Most accidents occur due to a truck driver failure to stop (going too fast) or a car driver in the blind spot of the truck.
