One flown to Pittsburgh following two-vehicle accident

One woman was flown to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh by STAT MedEvac Helicopter Service Thursday evening after the van she was driving and a Chevy truck collided on Route 119 in Dunbar Township near Oglevee Lane.
According to Rick Adobato with Fayette EMS, Margaret Molinaro of Connellsville was traveling north on Route 119 at approximately 6 p.m. when she attempted to access Oglevee Lane by crossing the southbound lanes of Route 119. The truck, which was traveling on Route 119 southbound, then collided with the van.

Molinaro suffered from multiple system trauma, according to Adobato. According to state police at Uniontown, both the driver of the truck, Thomas Darrell, 28, of Dunbar, and his passenger Dennis Halfhill, also of Dunbar, sustained minor injuries. Daily Courrier

Idaho State Police are blaming slick roads for a crash that killed one man and injured two others north of Ashton.
State troopers tell us that a semi-truck and two mini-vans were involved in the accident that happened just before noon 16 miles north of Ashton on Highway 20.

The driver of the green van lost control on a patch of ice and crossed into on-coming traffic, hitting the semi head on. The semi then hit a white mini-van.
