The FDA is investigating how many pet food makers got wheat gluten from the same supplier. If it is a large number, this recall will expand. The recalled pet food, sold by companies like Pet Food Expressincludes other wet foods made by Menu and other wet foods made by other manufacturers. Deaths have occured and the company will be dealing with consumers and even employees, who may get sick. Animal kidney failure is often caused by heavy metals and mold, according to the FDA.
