Is Asbestos Natural?

Asbestos is natural. The term asbestos refers to a group of minerals that are naturally found in the ground.

Asbestos Lawsuit Information

There are at least six different types of asbestos, three of which were commonly used in the manufacturing trades. Those three include a white asbestos known as Chyrsotile, a brown asbestos known as Amosite, and a blue asbestos known as Crocidolite.

While asbestos may be natural, do not let that trick you into believing that it is safe. They are plenty of naturally occurring minerals, foods, plants and other things that are harmful and poisonous. Despite the reassuring connotation of the word “natural” it is not synonymous with safe.

Do You Have A Mesothelioma Lawsuit? »

In fact, asbestos has proven to be anything but safe. Even trace amounts of asbestos can result in significant, life threatening, diseases. If you have worked with asbestos, then please talk to your doctor about the potential warning signs of asbestosis, mesothelioma and other asbestos related diseases so that you can get a prompt diagnosis and prompt treatment should you become ill.
