Do you have an unsafe product/wrongful death flammable couch
lawsuit?
According to the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), about
10 people die every week in fires caused by upholstered furniture
(flammable couches). These flammable couches are easily ignited by
cigarettes, matches, lighters, and candles.
Most sofas sold in the United States contain
polyurethane foam stuffing, or foam rubber, which is plastic made
flexible by adding thousands of tiny pockets of air. Foam rubber is the main ingredient
in almost all easy chairs, ottomans, and other soft furniture. When
exposed to the smallest flame, polyurethane foam ignites almost
instantly then burns at temperatures that can exceed 1,400 degrees.
