Rollover Kills Man Without Seat Belt

An SUV with five passengers was traveling on I-680 near San Ramon, Calif. when he tried to change lanes at the very same moment another vehicle in another lane was trying to change lanes.

The SUV swerved to avoid the collision and rolled over on its side. The other passengers who wore seatbelts were not critically injured.

The driver suffered a fatal head injury. It was unclear if the injury occurred when he struck something inside the SUV or if he was partially ejected and struck something outside.
