Ensure that your holidays are remembered for the most cherished traditions, and not for some avoidable tragedy. Buckle Up! Seat belts save lives and protective restraints for children are just as important. At least 40 percent of children ages 4 to 8, who are killed in crashes, are unrestrained. Observe posted speed limits and traffic laws; 30 percent of all fatalities are speed related. Move over or slow down for emergency vehicles. Allow for plenty of time to reach your destination without speeding or skipping rest stops. Leave your itinerary and destination contact info with a friend.
