Who is your employer? and What is your place of work?

It is not always clear who your employer is. It is possible that there can be many employers at the same location. Sometimes this is done for tax purposes. Sometimes there are simply independent contractors in one location that together create a workplace. But not all of the people there are your co-workers and they may have different employers. This is important to know, since it can greatly impact your rights as an injured worker. Make sure that you and your lawyer explore all of the options in determining who you worked for and who else could be held responsible for an injury at your work place. There are even times where you can sue your employer.
