Do I need an Attorney?

When to hire an attorney. Many people who are denied workers compensation decide it is best to hire an attorney to represent them in further proceedings. There are a number of reasons that our clients give us for wanting an attorney to counsel them in the process of obtaining workers compensation.

Why to hire an attorney. Most commonly, workers explain to us that they are intimidated by the process, by the forms, by the complexities of the workers compensation law. Others have expressed interest in having an attorney give them advice on the value of their case. Others still have consulted us because of concerns over selecting their doctor or getting medical bills paid. We also have clients who have consulted us because they want to obtain a lump sum settlement of their workers compensation claim and ask that we help negotiate with the insurance company on their behalf.

Which attorney to hire. Given the fact that the law of workers compensation changes frequently, if you ask us, we believe strongly that you are better off hiring an attorney. While that may sound self-serving, we believe it to be true that you will be better informed and have a better chance of getting the maximum amount in the shortest time period if you have an attorney representing you. So much so, that even if you don't hire the Bulldog Lawyers, we encourage you to get a consultation from another attorney.

Decisions, decisions. Deciding to hire an attorney is a very personal decision. And having made that decision, selecting which attorney to hire can be equally challenging. The good news is that you can get a free analysis of your claim without even hiring us. We are more than happy to talk with you and provide you with free initial consultation.
