Heart Drug - Natrecor - associated with deaths

Johnson & Johnson appears to ahve failed to tell federal regualtors about two deaths in the clinical trials of Natrecor. There were 6 deaths of pateints within 30 days among only 237 given the drug. In 2001 and 2002, Natrecor was given to apteints in the emergency rooms. The Justice Department is investigating whether the manufacturer, Scios, has promoted the drug beyond its approved uses.
