Avandia was considered the blockbuster diabetes drug when it was first released for use to treat Type 2 Diabetes.
Even though concern about Avandia were first brought to light in 1999, regulators have sat back doing nothing until the publication or the meta-analysis was released in the New England Journal Medicine in 2007.
Since that time, it has now been linked to heart attack and heart failure. As this drug is being recalled by doctors and being pulled by two major drug plans, it is becoming apparent that Avandia is unsafe, and has already caused a great deal of harm to many who were once taking it.
Now the drug Avandia is even being linked to osteoporosis. Even though osteoporosis is the contributing suspect to brittle bones in women, Avandia is being found to also be responsible for bone loss and possibly even the inability of bones to regenerate.
So if the use of Avandia has affected the life of anyone through the suffering of a heart attack, osteoporosis, or even liver damage and blindness, please click this link to have the case reviewed at no cost or obligation.
