The auto insurance company is not your friend.
Oh sure, your agent who may even be a family friend will act like you are best buddies until you have an auto accident. Your agent may even send you calendars, key chains, insulated cup holders and other gifts but don’t count on them to be in your corner when you really need them.
As a matter of fact, it could be just the opposite.
While you may like your insurance agent or the perky girl who calls you after your accident, you should never trust your auto insurance company. Why? Why… because they don’t trust you and most likely you will find out being intimidated by an auto insurance company is their way of conducting business.
Right when you need it most – sympathy and empathy – you will be harangued and intimidated. What’s with the good cop bad cop questioning? You pay your insurance premiums on time.
Is that any reason to treat a good customer?
After your accident, you are just a case file number. You could be Mother Teresa and nobody at your insurance company or the other driver’s insurance will be your friend. Nobody wants to send you a check for your pay and suffering or pay for your medical bills. Insurance companies are rich and want to stay that way. Who has the tallest buildings against any skyline? Insurance companies and banks do. Enough said.
Stop banging your head against the brick wall and stop trying to make nice with the insurance companies. Instead find a tough-as-nails law firm who has lawyers and expert personnel who have worked for insurance companies and know all the tricks of trade – then turn the tables on them.
Yes, insurance companies can be intimidating. You have a choice. Isn’t it about time to hire a lawyer to intimidate the insurance companies?
